Mikhail Iossel is the author of the story collection Love Like Water, Love Like Fire (Bellevue Literary Press, 2021). Born in 1955 in Leningrad, he emigrated to the United States in 1986. He is a professor of English and creative writing at Concordia University in Montreal.
