Natalie Scenters-Zapico is the author of the poetry collections Lima :: Limón and The Verging Cities. Among other honors she has received the PEN American/Joyce Osterweil Award for Poetry, the Great Lakes Colleges Association Prize, the Utah Book Award, and the National Association of Chicano and Chicana Studies Book Award. She earned an MFA in poetry from the University of New Mexico and teaches in the undergraduate and MFA programs at the University of South Florida.
