Patricia Sammon, a finalist in Narrative’s 2018 Fall and Winter Story Contests, has had her work included in the anthologies Ordinary and Sacred as Blood and Alabama Bound. She received a Nelson Algren Award for Short Fiction and a Hackney Literary Award and was the first-place winner in the Asheville Writers Competition (2017). As a regular contributor to her local public radio affiliate, her radio essays have been compiled in the collection Radio Link. She earned an MA in history from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
