Rick Moody is the author of six novels, including The Ice Storm (a film version was directed by Ang Lee) and The Four Fingers of Death (2010). He has also written three collections of stories and novellas, as well as The Black Veil: A Memoir with Digressions, winner of the NAMI/Ken Book Award and the PEN Martha Albrand prize. Moody has taught at the State University of New York, the Bennington Writing Seminars, and the New School for Social Research. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
