S. Asher Sund earned an MFA in creative writing from Eastern Washington University and a PhD in mythological studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He received the Marjorie J. Wilson Award, judged by Joyce Carol Oates, for the prose poem “12 Steps of a Tradeshow Junkie.” Sund lives in Ojai, California.
