Sacha Idell, a finalist in the 2018 Narrative 30 Below Contest, is a writer and translator from Northern California. He attended university in Tokyo and received his MFA from the University of Arkansas. His published translations include the work of Japanese writers Kyūsaku Yumeno and Toshirō Sasaki. Idell lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
