Siqi Liu, a finalist in Narrative’s 2023 Spring Story Contest, holds an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize. Born in Changsha, China, she immigrated to the Chicago suburbs at age seven and now lives in Iowa City and New York City.
