Stephanie Whetstone is a Kentucky native who graduated from Duke University and received a master of fine arts from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Her fiction has been nominated for Best New American Voices, and her nonfiction won the 2009 Rose Post Creative Nonfiction Award. Whetstone lives in Durham, North Carolina.
