Suzanne van de Velde was born in Connecticut and grew up in Oklahoma, Washington, DC, and Europe. She holds an MA in Anglo-Irish literature from the University of Leeds in England, and has worked on award-winning films and television in London, New York, and Los Angeles. She lives in Santa Monica, California.
