Terrance Manning Jr. won First Place in Narrative’s Spring 2017 Story Contest. A graduate of Purdue’s MFA program in creative writing, he has also received the Crazyhorse Prize in Nonfiction, the Iowa Review Award for Nonfiction, and Crab Orchard Review’s John Guyon Literary Nonfiction Prize. Manning lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
