Tom Toro is a cartoonist known for his world-weary, deadpan humor. He is also the author of works of fiction, children’s picture books, and screenplays. After graduating from Yale, Toro attended New York University Film School and was the cinematographer on films that premiered at Sundance, Tribeca, and Cannes. Born in Richmond, California, he lives in Berkeley with his wife.
