Tracy O’Neill, a finalist in the 2015 Narrative 30 Below Contest, is the author of The Hopeful, for which she was named to the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 and long-listed for the Flaherty-Dunnan Prize. In 2012 she was awarded the Center for Fiction’s Emerging Writers Fellowship. Born in South Korea, she earned a BA at Connecticut College and an MFA at the City University of New York. She teaches at City College of New York.
