Tryphena L. Yeboah, a winner of the 2021 Narrative Prize and of Narrative’s 2022 Spring Story Contest, was born in Mampong, Ghana. Her debut chapbook, A Mouthful of Home (University of Nebraska Press, 2020), was selected for the APBF New-Generation African Poets chapbook series. She received an MA in development communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and an MFA in creative writing from Chapman University and is a doctoral student in creative writing at the University of Nebraska.
