Valerie Trueblood was born and raised in Virginia and graduated from Brown University. She has published numerous works of fiction, including the novel in stories Seven Loves, a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers pick; the novel Marry or Burn; and Terrarium: New & Selected Stories (Counterpoint, 2018), which was shortlisted for the Pacific Northwest Book Award. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
