Xuan Juliana Wang was born in Heilongjiang, China, and grew up in Los Angeles. A 2011–2013 Wallace Stegner fellow, she holds a BA from the University of Southern California and an MFA from Columbia University. Her work has received a Pushcart Prize and has appeared in Best American Nonrequired Reading, 2016. She has lived in Paris and Beijing and now resides in New York City.
