Zachary Kanin was raised outside Boston and received his BA in English from Harvard in 2005, and has been contributing cartoons ever since. The author and illustrator of The Short Book: Tall Stories, Freakish Facts, and the Long and Short of Being Small in a Great Big World, he has also published many humorous essays. Kanin lives in New York City.
