This story is so well written and crafted. I fell in love with Mel as textured, 3-D character, and was carried along by the words, which seemed to effortlessly appear but of course were chosen with presicion and care. Truly the mark of a talented writer. And the arc of the story! I was caught unawares as much as Mel by the revelation of her husband's infidelity. She and her story will remain with me for a long time. Thank you, Marian.
