Emma Aylor, a finalist in Narrative’s Twelfth Annual Poetry Contest, was also the winner of the Graybeal-Gowen Prize for Virginia Poets. She earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Washington–Seattle and is pursuing a PhD in English and creative writing from Texas Tech University. She lives in Lubbock, Texas.
