Kirun Kapur, a finalist in Narrative’s Thirteenth Annual Poetry Contest, is the author of Women in the Waiting Room (2020) and Visiting Indira Gandhi’s Palmist, winner of the Arts & Letters Rumi Prize and the Antivenom Poetry Award. She received an MA from Boston University and teaches at Amherst College, where she is the director of the creative writing program. She lives north of Boston with her family.
